Gold plated:

According to French and European legislation, only a 3 micron gold-plated jewel is an authentic gold-plated jewel. The lifespan of a 3 micron gold-plated jewel varies between 5 and 10 years if it is well maintained.


Gold filled:

Gold filled products are created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of metal.
This is the thickest form of gilding. A piece of gold filled jewelry can last up to 30 years.

Sterling silver jewelry has an extremely long lifespan and, with proper care, will retain all of its shine. Over time, it can even develop a beautiful natural patina.

Mostly made of pure silver, solid silver is mixed with another metal to strengthen its strength. To be considered solid silver, it must contain at least 80% pure silver. For our jewelry we use 925/1000 solid silver, which is 92.5% pure.

The 9 carat gold used in Europe corresponds to 375/1000th of gold, or 37.5% pure gold + alloy.

18 carat gold is a very high quality gold, traditionally used in jewelry. It combines high purity of gold with good strength, which allows the jewel to be passed down from generation to generation.
